Auto Hauler Driver Jobs description
An auto hauler driver job involves transporting all types of cars and trucks to auto dealers, auctions and other specified places. These jobs are available with moving companies and auto hauler trucking companies. It is the duty of an auto hauler driver to provide high quality, damage-free hauling services to customers.An auto hauler driver is responsible for inspecting vehicles carefully and taking adequate precautions not to cause any scratches and damage. The job may also involve loading and securing the vehicles to the truck. Other job related duties include following all safety procedures, interacting courteously with clients, dispatchers and supervisors and providing outstanding customer service.
The minimum education preferred for an auto hauler driver job is a high school diploma or a G.E.D. Minimum age requirement generally varies between 21-25 years. A candidate must be the holder of a valid class-A CDL. Prior auto hauling experience is required. The ability to work hard and a clean driving record are the other requirements of the job.
