1st shift warehouse associate who can also act as a backup Delivery Driver when needed.

Members of our warehouse team perform duties involved in packing and checking orders, ensuring the orders are complete, accurate and free of damage.

As a backup delivery driver this position will drive company vehicles for the purpose of making deliveries and pick-ups of materials, and to assist in the warehouse as needed. When not covering a route for one of Viking’s full-time delivery drivers, this position will be working as a warehouse associate.

job responsibilities include:

Verify correct quantities and items for all zones.

Box up and label material.

Construct pallets based on delivery area preventing stock from being damaged on delivery.

Load trucks in correct delivery sequence.

Perform maintenance and housekeeping duties.

Act in helpful and cooperative manner towards customers and Viking associates.

Participate in processes and programs aimed at promoting a safe work environment.

Required Skills

Good mechanical aptitude, good math, reading skills, and a positive attitude

Ability to lift 75 lbs.

Knowledge of forklift operations and warehouse equipment preferred.

Valid Class B CDL with airbrakes endorsement AND clean driving record

1 year commercial driving experience is preferred

Delivery drivers must be familiar with delivery area.
