The primary function of this position is to drive a tractor trailer, tandem trailer and/ or straight trucks on intrastate and interstate routes for the purpose of delivering and/or unloading various products (meats, produce, frozen foods, groceries, dry goods) for restaurants, delicatessens, hospitals, schools, nursing homes, convenience stores, supermarkets and other foodservice outlets in a safe and timely manner and in accordance with Department of Transportation regulations. Various routes will require you to work on Saturday. Most routes allow you to be home every night! No rotating or stocking product!

What does a typical day in the life of a Delivery Professional look like?

•First things first – get plenty of rest!

•Upon departure of the operations parking lot, drive safely to our customers location according to the predetermined route and delivery schedule.

•Pull the invoice for the account that you are stopped at and review any special notes.

•Safely begin unloading our customers order and enter their establishment with a smile. YOU are the face of our business!

•Perform damage control checks on items.

•Verify delivery of items with customer and obtain proper signatures. Collect money (cash or checks) where required.

•Quality, accuracy, and service – that is what sets us apart!

Required Qualifications:

• High school diploma/GED or state approved equivalent

• Valid CDL A

• Meet all State licensing and/or certification requirements (where applicable)

• Must be 21 years of age

• Clean Motor Vehicle Report (MVR) for past 3 years

• Pass post offer drug test and criminal background check

• Pass road test

• Valid current DOT Health Card and/or able to secure new DOT Health Card

• Able to hand-lift and utilize two-wheeler, lift gate and/or other equipment to move and/or stack product cases/freight of varying size and weight throughout shift; product generally ranges from between 10-35 pounds and up to between approximately 60 and 90 pounds, depending on the location

Required Experience:

• 6-12 months of commercial driving experience
